The Arts and Business have recognised Thomas Homes as a Business Cultural Champion in the South West in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the arts through their support of Create Studios, Cultural Swindon. This has included sponsorship of the Jubilee Film and becoming a member of the Steering Group.

The Arts and Business is an organisation that brings together the cultural and corporate worlds to support businesses that go the extra mile to support the arts. The Business Cultural Champions programme, a sister initiative of the Arts and Business successful Cultural Champions scheme, publicly acknowledges the tremendous value businesses bring to the arts, allowing them to flourish in difficult times. The programme also encourages other businesses, of all sizes and from all sectors, to get involved.

The winning businesses were showcased at a high profile event at Bristol's Colston Hall on Friday 30 November when representatives of both the businesses and the arts organisation they supported received certificates.

Arts and Business regional director James Taljaard said "The arts in the South West could not survive without the passionate support of hundreds of people who generously give their time, expertise, and money to help the regions cultural organisations flourish, especially those that work within the business sector. At Arts and Business, we feel it is essential that we continue to celebrate the work of these business professionals that play a vital role supporting the cultural sector and their community."
