Fair Mile

In late 2006 Thomas Homes and Linden Homes were appointed as preferred developers
for the Fair Mile Hospital by English Partnerships, the National Regeneration Agency
and owners of the site.

Status: The development is currently in the planning process with the intention of creating a mixed-use, sustainable neighbourhood that integrates with the existing community in Cholsey and includes the restoration and conversion of the historic buildings while meeting English Partnerships’ national standards covering construction efficiency, community engagement and design quality, and retention of undeveloped land of historic interest as public space.
